I have set up some rooms to have scry wards (mostly because I thought/assumed this was in and figured out how to make it work). We can of course discuss further, etc., but any wiz who wants to know what rooms have it, shoot me a message here or in game, and I'll share Smile

Are the wards defeatable, for example if the scryer is better that the one who cast the wards?

All wards are just that - wards, cast with a set strength, which can be bypassed by a sufficiently powerful caster. Teleport wards are the same story. Teleport proofing is a different case, which is usually used to lock down quest areas/dungeons, and isn't available outside of that kind of zone.

What Nienne said - I coded the wards years ago to take several things into account (caster level, etc.). The wards are what spells actually cast, so protection from teleportation or whatever creates a ward rather than an absolute.

About the nerfs to scrying themselves. Scrying has one other big use. It allows someone to control their followers.
