Hey guys!
I am pleased to announce I am your new resident avatar and am looking forward to helping you all breath life into our virtual world!
WOOOOOO!
So I volunteered for this position with a few specific goals in mind which I'd
like to share with everyone up front so we can work together toward achieving them.
One of my primary goals is personal character development and growth. I want to help you guys tell your stories and will be reviewing backgrounds and pcnotes and watching interactions to find good plot hooks that can pull people in while helping to grow your own personal story.
Another is to make the world feel alive again. I know for a long time now there hasn't been much in the way of politics or world development going on for various reasons. This is something I aim to change in order to make the stage your characters are playing on more vibrant and interesting.
Third is rewarding rp focus. I am going to be watching you guys interact, reading your avmails and pcnotes and checking out your rumors. The more effort you put into rping, the more return you will see for your efforts be that more interactions from me to further your personal goals to special items and even positions of power among faiths or cities. The more people you can get involved in your rp the more I will reward you.
I will be reviewing backgrounds, pcnote and avmails as well as watching you guys over the next week to see where I will be starting so figure out what you want to do, get that preferred character polished up and get online. Find your allies, size up your enemies and show me what you are all about.
Lets begin a new age of Shadowgate, and lets do it with a bang. |
