Does another player have to be present with all roleplay aspects?
Or can a senerio be emoted out by the individual and then mail to the avatar board. |

I am guessing you mean your own character doing some task that doesn't involve another player.. then no, another character doesn't have to be present in the room.
Example: You are working to gain influence in a city so you go to each NPC in the town and chat with them awhile, or you are strength training so alone in the woods you lift weights..
I always suggest using thought though to let imms know you're doing something.. perhaps someone is watching that might interact with you. Also, you never know when you're being watched / scried by another player so perhaps even separated by a world you're still in RP with that player. _________________

This is pretty much the best thing you can do to call immortal attention to what you're doing, and/or give internal monologue in a situation if you know an immortal is involved. Not to say that it should be used as a constant chatter (some imms may go crazy), but it serves extremely well both as an alert to us - thought "hey, I'm cruising around Shadow patching up the damage from that invasion" - as well as any internal thoughts we may need to know about your character in a plot situation - thought "I think this guy is lying through his teeth and I don't trust him a bit".
Just remember if it's a major scenario where you'd normally need a GM's intervention in tabletop, you should get an avatar's intervention, so that the world reacts accordingly. Automatically assuming you did something drastic (assassinated major NPCs, enacted complex magical rituals, etc) generally means we will confirm it as a failure, since an appropriate challenge/encounter hasn't been offered to you & ramifications haven't been considered. Smaller scenarios are no problem to play out yourself and then avmail and/or pcnote what you did, so we can follow up if necessary |
