Well I wrong for saying that. But your attitude is annoying me. You are ignoring nearly everything being said in order to insult me, act holier then thou and shoehorn in unrelated opinions.

Sorry Verbannon, I did think that was what you intended (for newbie to have access).

We used to have AP (Advanced Player) as earned title, like a precursor to HM where players would show a level of trustworthiness and diligence to RP without the full HM requirements. I wouldn't be adverse to bringing it back as an avenue for players who want to play something on the restricted list, without needing to invest the high amount of time needed for HM. Perhaps we can create a note informing new players that they can send up an avatarmail with their intentions and desired race.

And first off, faking being an hm doesn't make any sense. You can't fake being an hm. You can't fake the rp, you can't fake being polite, you can't fake the skill at contributing. All they would be doing is proving they ca do it and if they later choose to stop then its a clear show of them choosing to stop not a lack of ability. The only real criticism to a fast track approach I can think of is that it results in simple uncreative characters molded to fit into archetypes.

And I'm not going to say again how absolutely wrong you are about newbies not needing hm for restricted races.

And saying they need a more in depth beginner's area is not a suggestion if it doesn't come with a better example.

I'm not sure where I've insulted you Verbannon, again you're trying to place yourself as a victim of some malicious campaign of mine to discredit you. I'm debating and submitting an arguement that you for some reason find is far less valid than your viewpoint.

I've submitted my view going off what you've written and you've reacted that the only reason I could ever do so is because of some percieved hate I have for you.

First of all, you need to work to get me to hate you. Secondly any dislike I have for you is your own doing and incase you go in this direction, it's not because of any IC behavior. We probably will never get along OOCly and I have no need to earn your liking or favor, and I'm ok with that. I can still have a discussion about the course of the game, with you or anyone else, without having to direct the discussion towards perceptions of people and not their arguement.

Lastly, I've said enough in this thread and I suspect you'll keep going after me instead of my comments on the of the context of these posts. I've outlined my thoughts on the subject. I'm done here unless an admin wishes me to explain something I've said within the actual discussion of this thread and not the percieved, and non existant insults I've supposedly directed towards you.

Ok, at this point the wiki is fair game for whoever wants to use it, I've removed the various helpfiles (as they were extremely out of date & simply replicating what's already on the website). All player content, histories, backgrounds, stories etc are still intact so feel free to add to it as you wish Smile

The website will remain imm-run as it will maintain core approved content. Which I will update at some point... Sad
