Time requirements have been changed. Leveling is no longer restricted based on time. This also means that there are no longer bonuses to exp gain based on logged in time or penalties.
Currently Player Kill Interactions are restricted based on time - so that you need a percentage of the average play time of people logged in over the past two weeks to be able to engage in player kill. This is set to update dynamically to fit with the current players. So if we eventually have players that are only active an hour or two per day then the restrictions will reflect that.
The idea is to use exp taxes (in the vast majority of cases) to reward you for good RP - or even possibly in the future have some quests that grant some bonus experience percentage for x amount of time. Or whatever creative uses we can figure out for taxes - maybe even curses that have a negative impact
Stats command now shows you when a stat is increased or decreased, it also shows the stat bonus - so an 18 strength will have +4 next to it.
The score command tells you if you are eligible for Player Kill interactions based on time and your play time. Also, for those who haven't been in the game recently you can now see your AC (aside from dex bonuses, etc.) and your Base Hit in score.
Coming Soon: An ability to toggle this off for people lower than level 20 and Plot Flags (still figuring exactly how this would work but it would allow you to engage in player killing people with a plot flag the same as your own as long as the plot is still open).
An improved character creation system which will allow new players to hopefully reset and start over any time up to the point at which they are no longer a newbie
Enjoy,
