So... for all these years I have been godlessly playing a dwarf who followed the dragon god and you all called me crazy. Then as it happens... Told you so! lol
Since I've been calling him Bahamut could that be considered the racial or dwarvish name for him, or is everyone cool if I retcon it? _________________ "GNOMES MAKE THE BEST GARDENERS!!!!!" - A random Garden Gnome to a group of snobby Elves. |

Horn,
There is no Bahmut and to my knowledge never was so you can't recon it. Plus Krey was not a god until recently won't make sense.
There are just one set of gods now. We did this to eliminate race gods. You're welcome to call it whatever but others will think you craxy.

I thought you may like him Please do note Kreys is not Bahamut and has no relation thereto - he has only just ascended. So no, his racial name is not Bahamut in any other tongue, and per Kass a retcon here would be inappropriate; any prior claims to worshipping a dragon god would be seen basically as crazy, as the last dragon gods died out during the second godswar (approx 700 years ago). You're welcome to take up worship of the new god if you like, and if he fits your character, but that would only be applicable from yesterday onwards
Also sorry about the longass name but you can blame Octo for that, he wrote the guy into lore about 10yrs ago |

Got it all sorted. Undelhorn made a pilgramage to Azha where he learned that Kreysneothosies was not Bahamut and was further informed that Bahamut never existed. Since Undelhorn has been returned from the dead while godless and three times after being hung upon the Wall of Souls whereupon he became lost for a few years and was somehow able to return himself without divine assistance he doesn't have any reason to follow a god. They are useless. Instead he is remaining a heathen as he has been for over 50 years ICly, since Bahamut is not real. The gods having been proven to be useless, petty, warmongers that server little if any purpose in his life. Rather much like magic he simply just chooses not utilize them rather putting his trust in something he knows will work for a fact.
He doesn't view any of the gods, new or old, as good. I mean they just destoryed Shadow for a third time and got a bunch of people killed for no reason what so ever. So sacking a 'good' god's temple is not an evil act but simply an act to him. Hurting a mortal in the name of a god however could possibly lead to some internal conflict unless that person is clearly evil.
I figure from here on out when it comes to the divine he is a free agent or a mercenary. He has no real reason to help any god, but he will if they reward him properly. He still is motivated towards protecting the dwarven kingdom and restoring their lands in Shadow, but that is about it. _________________ "GNOMES MAKE THE BEST GARDENERS!!!!!" - A random Garden Gnome to a group of snobby Elves. |
