"Recently a traveling group of foreign nomads have arrived within Offestry. These nomads have setup shop directly outside the entryway to the Shrine of the Gods. They are selling goods, offering fortune telling and prophecies for many commoners while also offering travel to Shadow or Tabor for a price. The city has grown considerably since their arrival and is booming currently."

"Word spreads of a Fire Efreeti who has taken up residence in the old temple of Auril. People are delivering offerings of flame and snow to the Efreeti as he slowly changes the temple from one of ice and cold to a tropical paradise. Gossip suggest he is offering items of power and knowledge should the offering be to his liking"

Guidelines for the Plot

1. There is no level cap or character requirement. I had a player mention how characters might be made specifically for the plot, but not followed through with afterwards. I'm opening this up to any character, however, only ONE character. Please mudmail me with your entry into the plot.

2. PK will be allowed, but please specifically talk to me BEFORE hand. I want to keep it as a LAST resort.

3. A schedule will be posted soon to allow people to signup for Plot sessions. If you could mail me times that you're mostly active during your character submission that will help a lot. I plan on trying to have times for EVERY time zone and will be flipping my schedule around a bit to accommodate.

4. RP rewards will be tossed at those who RP well. Ie RPing race, alignment, faith. Oddities are fine if I'm in the loop through avatarmail, notes, or personal email/mudmail. Mail me with any great RP you see and why/when. No logs are required, feel free to make mail short, we all have enough paperwork.

5. While PK mails are not required any longer, please mail me should any happen related to the plot or post so I can keep track.

6. Have Fun!

This plot will have many branches, segments. I have some proportions planned, but others could be completely out of left field, please be patient and I'd recommend taking SOLID notes either through notes or on your PC. I will be keeping a lot, but it will be overwhelming for me to keep them all.

Lastly, Talos will be aiding me, so please copy him in mails when you feel it is appropriate.

The nomads known as The Threads have moved part of their gathering from Offesty to the steps of Mystra and Oghma's old temple with the help of Emissary Haydn. What these foreigners want is still undetermined. Rumors swirl of them offering adventures and rewards to the adventurers who call Tabor and Shadow home. (Levels 12 - 25)

Alliae'shab'entu known as Prince of the Efreeti has taken up residence with Auril's old temple and made a bold prophecy that has traveled the realm. "When the sky is on fire, shades and elves will strike at the heart of dwarves and Kinaro will find it walls ablaze." The genie has also healed the sick, traded weapons of flame and power for offerings. Rumors swirl that a contingent of Tonovian's are traveling to speak with him in a fort night, in hopes of reestablishing their power after the fall of Lord Bane. More and more denizens of the Plane of Fire are arriving at the temple of Auril and the Prince has requested a meeting with adventurers of power. (Levels 26 - 50)

Rumors have been spreading out of every bar and inn across the realm that Shadow's merchant council is hosting a once in a lifetime auction. The item is of enormous importance. Gossip suggests that it cost to even attend the auction and the price is in the hundreds of thousands. Who knows if that is true, these things seem to have a life of its own. However, what is clear is that the details this event are held by Flugar of Shadow's armorsmith.

Concern spreads across the realm as the nomads known as The Thread have vanished from their camp sites in Tabor and Shadow. No one is quite clear why and it happened over night. It appears that they left in a hurry. Commoners speak of the Gods sending hunting parties and banning together to utterly destroy them, but that is hard to believe for those who know how petty and jealous the gods can be.

PS: I'm still around guys, just moving my girlfriend over the next few weeks and have had roughly 4 phone interviews this week, so it is just a busy week. The interviews come and go, but some good prospects hopefully, at least when I closed 2 of the phone screen ladies agreed to pass me on.

I should be around some Thursday afternoon - evening unless my buddy and I find time to fix a window on my girlfriends car.

News swirls about Seneca of an old air Genasi ranger making an appearance in the city and murdering a guard whom attacked him. The city swears it was Ryorik an elemental reaver and with this they have unleashed recalled squads of guards whom patrol outside the city. These guards are often traveling the jungle, fighting the undead hordes and are much more powerful than normal ones.

Seneca's guard have under gone training and seem much more capable in battle now, they seem to have been trained by these "death squads" and are more capable of reporting back to their superiors should someone attack them. Rumors swirl that Seneca is hiring bounty hunters to protect the city as well from adventurers and any chaotic forces that might comes it way.

OOCLY I upped Seneca's guard a little so please be aware. They shouldn't be pushover and they will be hiring NPC bounty hunters as I have time for anyone whom is nutty enough to strike at the city consistently. I'll probably look at Antioch at some point too. My intention is for these two cities to be respected a bit more than others while also realizing that you guys are the top echelon of people. I've a few ideas, but might not ever get to them. Hopefully these guards are able to push you guys a little and the city feels more realistic.

I've decided that since I don't know my time tables I'll open the plot to multicharacters from players. If you abandon a character etc that is fine if you play something else or if your character is killed out of the plot. Just please do not mix/match information between characters.

I apologize that my plot is slower than some would like, RL time has been an issue this time and then I've been trying to coordinate specific sections with players to ensure that people can be involved. However, going forward it should be much quick and I'll probably have this section of the plot wrapped up by the end of next week. If anyone wants to get in while its still going please do so.
