Adventurers,
The first stage of enchanting balance is now live. The maximum allowed enchantment bonus has been reduced by 1 across all tiers of enchanting for a maximum of 6. Additionally, bonus values have been adjusted to be more in line with intended balance. Items will automatically adjust to the new maximum values upon wear/wield.
Before: Sword +7 (+7 Damage Bonus, +6 Strength)
After: Sword +6 (+5 Damage Bonus, +4 Strength)
In the coming weeks we will also be changing the maximum number of bonuses from 2, down from the current 3. There will be a command/menu for you to pick which bonuses to drop if your items have more than 2, but the item will be unusable until the extra bonus is dropped.
Please let us know if an item doesn't seem to be adjusting itself automatically, or if any other strange occurrences happen with magical crafting.
