The city of Tonovi has long been the great threat of the north, its military on constant campaigns to assault and dominate their neighboring city state of Torm. The faith of Bane has held the city in its iron fist since the death of Xvim and every facet of its society operated under their absolute authority. Now with the death of their Dark Lord the city has fallen into chaos as powers previously held in check by the Tyrants faith have decided now is their time to act.

Nobility that have felt like little more than puppets to the church for the first time have freedom to actually control their considerable resources and begin to turn them toward installing a true government where a royal bloodline will have true control.

Shadow organizations that moved quietly below the surface of Tonovi’s society, working for church and nobles alike to manipulate or destroy enemies see an opportunity to use the vast stores of information gathered on the citizens of Tonovi to take a more prominent role in society.

Even nearby enemies who have long suffered at Tonovi’s hand see the potential to exploit the sudden lack of unity. Some perhaps even seek to reunite the north as a true utopian power for good that it once was…

These are only a few of the rumors that currently circulate about the once terrifying city of Tonovi. What lays in store for this bastion of military might? What part will you play in shaping its future?

Hello guys!

So I am announcing the beginnings of a long term plotline focused on the future of Tonovi! This city has a long and storied history of conflict with others but for the first time since the North was fractured and Tonovi took independence it has been left without a presence strong enough to hold all the disparate factions of the city together in an iron grip.

This is an open-ended plot without a predetermined conclusion so the fate of the city will truly be up to those players who participate and the choices they make. There will be opportunities to earn political power, connections and even unique and powerful magical items!

If you are interested in taking part all you need to do is show up and roleplay! Use avatarmail to inform me of what you are doing, looking for or planning. A word of caution though as while the church of Bane may be gone there are still considerable powers in the city that nobody could hope to face alone.
