Shadowgate

Right, we want new players, and the only way I can think of is to advertise on places where we might find new players. I'm sure some of you post on forums scattered around the internet, so the "plan" such as it is, is to put some links and a note in your signature telling people how great ShadowGate is, and how awesome the RP is.

Basically I will be putting a note in my signature on the forum I play-by-post on saying ShadowGate is where I really learned how to roleplay, followed by these three links:

Theoretically any person, even someone who hasn't mudded before, should be able to use these to get onto shadowgate and witness how awesome it is with minimal help from the existing playerbase.

Before we start posting, can a few of you test the links make sure they work, and call out where you're planning to post? Any other ideas for attracting new players are welcome too.

So I was farting around and realized a lot of people play mobile games with periodic guild events. When the events aren't on the players don't play as much, which means their free time gets taken up with something else... Why not shadow gate? The players coordinate themselves on chats like line. Is anyone else involved in these at all? It is fertile recruiting ground for shadow gate because these guys have time to burn when they're not mobile gaming.

The only sites I frequent (Paint.net and Roll20), the former disallows any form of advertisement inside signatures and the latter lacks signatures. Sorry, but I do every so often refresh our thread on the mud forums. I was planning on doing that again once the current issue with the imms settles down.
