Having been unable to join in the plot, I have really enjoyed these exciting updates. Thank you, Nienne
Is there any chance we could get an overview of how the various Gods died? Just a sentence on each would be much appreciated, something one could learn by asking around the old temples of the gods. It would be great both for current rp and future reference.
Thanks,
Gia

Yep, I will be writing up the entire plot arc (both player-based and offscreen, where appropriate) so that everyone can catch up. The episodic nature of the plot means most players only saw very small pieces of the whole, so I think it would be good for everyone to see the rest of the pages! It was also deliberately done in certain spots with emote-side combat to paint a greater picture of the story as a whole
This may be a couple weeks off yet - priority is to ensure all new in-game systems are available to support play (eg/ new temples, item fixes). But I will be getting to it once those key items are in!
All of that said... not all deities may have such a clear-cut demise as everyone may like. Some are left in deliberately murky circumstances... |

That's awesome. I'm looking forward to it. Don't mean to push or anything, I'm just very excited by this change. Awesome job, Nienne _________________ "The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head." T. Pratchett |

Glad it was all enjoyed Sorry first week back at work was hectic but I've been back into things over the weekend, so a few updates...
-I think I put at least a short blurb on all the temples that got broken by now... sorry I missed a few following the Azhan fall-out There are certainly some still standing and they do have plans in mind yet!
-helpfiles are all in, the offestry shrine has been redone, and a few gods (jarmila, lysara, callamir) have the fancy <new symbol> thing already installed. A reminder for any that are worried about picking a god - it can be done (at least for now) at any standard church, along with selecting domains for the clerics...
-gossip across the realm suggest there are temples already being constructed by the newly gathered faithful of the various churches, but obviously these things take time. Rumors do suggest that a small temple to Jarmila has already been erected outside the gates of Antioch.
-certain priest spells have been updated; WOP & god's favor will automatically start working for each faith as their temple is installed (so currently only the Jarmilan faithful will work!). Weapons and sanctuaries are yet to be done, a bit further down the list.
-a few in-game items that were deity locked have been updated, but most will be done once all the temples are in.
More to roll out through the week, I will keep you all posted There was more stuff to recode after the plot than I thought, heh... |

Heyo! Sorry for delays, RL has been fairly ridiculous the last week after hubby's accident (he's doing a lot better!). Finally I have gotten back into things this weekend a little where possible. The four temples local to Azha have now been properly updated/removed/revised according to their plot outcome, and rumors suggest that the Tsarven armies have been busy - along with repairs to Azha itself, a new temple to the Golden Emperor is said to have been constructed at the road junction outside the outpost.
I will be working my way north from here and revising any temples or areas that didn't get time for a proper rewrite during the plot, as well as installing the rest of the new temples as I go Hopefully less delays from here! |

Let me know once the new temples are done if you are still missing some - I have access to all of the old temple copies and can retrieve the charges if you are looking to make a record (ICly I am certain NPCs would be able to tell you!).
Past this, I've now completed all updates to the next region on my list - Tharis. All old temples have been revised/removed/etc as appropriate to the plot, and two new temples have been reported in the area - one to Lord Shadow, at the very southern end of Tharis overlooking the city, and one to Nim'navanon within the eastern limits of Tharis forest, where Silvanus' temple once stood. |

Didn't get quite as far as I'd like over the weekend, but one more temple would've been mentioned in certain rumor circles - a temple to the Faceless One is believed to be hidden somewhere in the passes of the Charu Mountains. |

Just as a note in here, I have completed grabbing all the charges from the temples of old gods and submitted a copy of it to the library in Shadow. There were a few temples that were completely destroyed and so those are missing, but for the most part they should all be in there. It is titled "Charges of the Deities Spanning the Period between the Sundering and the Silence", I know its rather long but I couldn't think of a decent title.[/u] _________________ "GNOMES MAKE THE BEST GARDENERS!!!!!" - A random Garden Gnome to a group of snobby Elves. |

Sorry lovelies, didn't really get any in this week, RL kinda got put on its head even more so early in the week and most of my spare time is now being sunk into job hunting (fun!). So at present I'm mostly just holding place on paperwork with various people & will get back to this as soon as I'm able... |

RL always trumps game, even for imms. Take your time and focus on what's important! We can be patient, and all wish you luck. _________________ "[Aiden poses clinging to the ceiling like a gecko].

Rumors of another temple have started to circulate the realm, this time to the lady of fate, time and death - Lysara's temple is said to be not far along the road headed to Torm. The majority of the Dagger region temples have also been updated according to the plot storyline now, though I still have a couple left to clean up! |
